Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

wilderness

zac baker

lets go the way of the wild
from when we was a child
temperatures are mild
when looks get smiled

animals are what is good to me
its what i like to up and see
lift your leg and take a pee
what is mine used to be free

open your maws
roll your paws
retract your claws
clench your jaws

walk in the meadow together
be wild animals forever
never say never
just have to be clever

up so high in that tree
we can just be
so very timidly happy
thats the scene

let me paint that for you
i implore you
let me explore you
we are the ones that make two

eat fruit and plants
lets not wear pants
lets forget our rants
give it a chance ya?

i want to live in the forest
and forget
what i remember to be city life
glamourous as it is
lets go to the wild

zac baker has published since joining on 30/11/99. Read more of zac's terrible poetry at the anthology. Here are three of zac's latest works:
