Very Bad Poetry

shaun hull

and then we

and some time called december
towards winter rage
to frost abundant scream

cold we stung to sing and quench
and stole that bit of mockery
watching close our eyes

fleecing a sense of foe
nothing else mattered really
we were about to die for them

a death throne was our perch
our eye to that we no longer lived
and dance and then some more
