Very Bad Archive

the wildebestia

Brett Kaywood

He twisted
He shorned
Then through came his horns
six, then eight,
then eleven-teen dead.

He kicked
He tossed
seven more men lost!
eighteen! now twenty!
All gruesome blood-red!

The Wildebestia
All Ten-hundred pounds!
The Wildebestia!
Dead men left in mounds!

So the next time you think POETRY is sissy,
The next time you think POETRY is lame...
REMEMBER the Wildebestia and what happens when it gets pissy.
... And you'll probably still hate poetry just the same.
