Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

the last time i saw grandpappy

Alouicious McNamera

vultures cry as i pour salt in the wounds in my enemies' eyes...
there is no greater feast than that of Genghis Khan's goodbyes...
and they rest...
how they rest...
but then they awaken..
anew...
and set afoot (out) foraging for effing nuts and gee-dee berries...
and shit...
(sorry for cursing)
but then when night falls..
which is a way of saying that the Earth has completed a half-rotation...
night doesn't literally, physically, fall...
or anything...

the notion that that is possible...
is preposterous...

where was i?
