Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

roadkill

sheila gasquet

Found on the road dead..not drunk, a skunk; it used to stink..now stunk.
There's a vast array of creatures here,
in bits and pieces, bloody smears.
Squirrels, cats, rabbits and a lot of deer.
I live in the country there are hunters near,
so the dear run in front of my car.. then vultures then come to feed from afar.
The only animal I haven't seen dead on the road.
Is not a cat, dog, rabbit or toad, but a water wader called an Alligator, a reptile cousin of the Crocodile. To see these reptiles dead you must drive south , 325 miles, but it would be worth it, to see into ones dead open mouth.
To count it's teeth, then ponder a while does an alligator really smile?
