Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

red

red red

an ocean
seething, foaming
flying over the surging peaks
towards the horizon
colours streaking through the clouds

I see red
I see red, gilt edged, glowing red
Solid walls of bulbous cloud
rising from the flat horizon
underneath, the turgid ocean
still from a distance
but always moving,
an unstoppable force.

glowing red under the setting sun
