Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

read to them, unnoticed

David Howerton

Towns turn gray
frosty morning
drifting along road
in fog
trying to catch taillights.

Bluffing through reading
no time to write something
just had to make it up
and hope no one noticed.

Got some clapping
figured
it'd gone well.

Late night fog
cup of tepid coffee
a companion
on way home.

Felt pretty good
pulled reading off
and got out
ahead of game.
