passion stipend

cyrus trask

seven open face-holes
trolling the plowed
hair curling over plow
and bough branching eye-
lash to brow, catcha looking
at Fever five nights in a row.
Crooks a leg, books it over,
comma here,punctuating a smile

she rubbed on me & I thumbed 'er"
