Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

not lost enough

Emily Reeve

I had a dream about you last night.
I was having a pleasant dinner
with some close friends
in a town just south of here.

You came in with your hair disheveled,
a lot of makeup,
tight black jeans,
and a list of excuses as long as my arm.

None of it mattered.
All I wanted to know
is how the hell you made it to Alaska
and how the hell you found me.
