Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Poem 244

Very Bad Archive

it was me

Emily Reeve

I woke up at 6 am.
You were lying there asleep,
looking like an angel and
I kissed your cheek
before I walked out the door.

When I left that morning
I knew I would never
see you again. I was excited.
I was scared. I didn't know
what to do at all.

So before I got into my car
I grabbed my tire iron
and took out your windshield.

Just to make sure.
