Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

hope

chas mauldin

as far as the rainbow stretches colorful can be
my eyes see blue searching for the calming sea
my insides search for the place
where my soul needs to be will i find me!

i ventured into the land of dope shut down disconnected
i could not find hope lost my spir
it found i could not cope
in a world of dope so

miserable i forgot to use soap.
a power greater than i showed me
that life is good without dope
helped me to restore some hope
bridge the gap to the door called faith
and that rainbow had more colors than blue
guides me to a place called true
and that spirit said this is you!
