Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Waking up by the loud screech of
My brother’s voice with the excitement
All around as he yells for me to wake up
And get my discs and let’s go! Sometimes
We travel far but other times we stay as
Close to home as we can, we can go any
Time of any day, whether it is hot or cold
Out, we can slosh through slop because
We wear our crocks. Mine our hot pink
And his are blue. He has been at this for
A little longer than me and is pretty good
At it, but he always tells me how good I
Am and how good my throws are. I normally
Get par or one higher than that. He always
Beats me by a few or more but I never do too
Bad. As my disc sails through the sky I
Anticipate where it is going to land, I have
Never got a hole in one but there have been
A few times that I have come pretty close.
My favorite is getting slurpees when were
Done, there always seems to be a 711 right
By all the courses that we go to which really
Works out perfectly.
