i took out my wallet
to show him
that i couldn’t pay him
inside my wallet I had
a one dollar bill
a five dollar bill
and two chicken fingers
i took the chicken fingers
out of my wallet
they were chunky
and frozen
i ate them both
later i looked down
only to discover
that i wasn’t wearing pants
