Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Will Sanchez

in the valley
under the spread arms
of a statue of christ
that is atop the mountains
the city dwells
surrounded by the ranges
and scarred earth
it is eden,
the garden city
of eternal spring
it is here that i wish to be
with my people
dwelling in the old

the windows were open
to a home down the road
while i was visiting my family
the piano was being played
it was so fantastic
and un-jaded
and i found the player and piano
a girl my age and black grande
how it was to stand there
in the doorway
listening
and her beauty never knowing a thing of it
as it shared so much with everything around
