Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

awake

chas mauldin

i am wondering am i awake, and am i aware
do i represent a fake locked into a blank stare
cry, cry, life just isn't fair does anyone really care
forgotten are the times of my love i refused to share
truth or dare! will i die if i try truth which
Does make me quake; as my boots start to shake
LOVE reveals me as a fake! by fear when i awake
Realizing i am closed because i chose to snub by nose
Those who by truth are predisposed live a life that
that is touched by the Chose!
