Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Because of reflex action
A rattlesnake can bite you after it's dead
Your memory left will be reduced to a fraction
If it bites you in the head

When a mattress gets worn
The springs start coming through
And your pajamas keep getting torn
That's the time to get one that's new

It's the same here as it is there
No need to leave your rocking chair
No one here can take your place
If you were to go there would only be space
