Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Heaven and Hell are nearer than you think,
In fact, we are all just tipping over the brink.
Where closed minds stumble throughout life and death,
In endless darkness brought together with that one last breath.

Let all tell it their own tales now,
And choose sides and keep their vow.
Let all take the burden up,
Or have pain and sorrow bubble up.

This story’s over, all done right through,
Everything’s told and nothing else is new.
Elsewhere, I must make my way,
To gather new faith, fortune, and a new day.

We are love, and this is our hour,
Or lest you miss this inner power,
Unused, lie in your soul and wither like a flower.
