Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

a smack upside the head

Emily Reeve

Your dad will
Your step-mom will
most of your friends and coworkers will

You'd be lucky if that's all
My friends did
My mother, my father, my aunt, my cousin...

Everyone else realizes that you'd be making a huge mistake.
I think you realize the risk you're taking.

Besides, do you really want to see me date your best friend out of spite?
