Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

a series of love poems- from a little black book from a twelve year old boy to the love of his life

Esthie,
I watch and wait,
You, I love and hate.
I poke your back and pull your hair,
Hoping you will see me there.
I don’t want you to know me well,
I just don’t know how to tell.
I watch and wait,
You, I love and hate.
Someday you will be my bride,
I will not be denied

Dearest Esthie,
I love your black hair, how it falls carelessly down you back,
You don’t think I notice it but I do, I have a knack.
Your eyes are pretty and your smile sweet,
I watch you walk from behind you on the street.
You’re small and fragile with a bite,
You don’t give up without a fight.
I loved you everyday when we’re in class,
I loved you when I hurt you, oh alas.

My dear Esthie,
We are born out of chaos,
There will always be a part of me in you through this chaos.
Yes I taunted and I teased you

Believe what you will but if I am exiled alone I know we will be together, just me and you.
Someday when the time has come,
You will be mine; you will be under my thumb.
The love I bear you is infinite,
For the love I give you we will always fight.
Till we the next day I taunt and tease,
You are the wind my personal breeze.
Ado my love,
Is it not such a strange thing, love?
