Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

You Went and Spent the Fly

Ace Kale

It came out of your urethra
Strong and pungent like vinegar
What I've often smelled when I enter the market with the sunflower sign.
I should have known that through the curl of your beard, there would be a fly unseen
Buzzing into the caverns of my heart.

I want to take a tube and stick it up your nose,
Wincing at the thought that maybe you can take me to the craphouse coffee joint down the street where we can blow a cig and I can stroke your deep hair
Like urine during infection.

You went and spent the fly
that nested there.
You took the eye away from the centre
And spindled it round the offsets of my lows.
I can't bear it no more.
Motherfucker. All I's wanted was a little nudge
Then a grin.
But it never happened.
