You Tell Me

I can Hope Only for you
I can wish like a wish can do
I can tell you the Time is on:
But Most of all darlin
I can keep my cannonball.

I Can Hope like a rope can do
And sittin in soup
is like lookin for the tire-tree-loop.

I can wish like a wish can do,
but when it comes down,
that is when it is open,
im only hopin' for words from you.
