Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Winter Wind

Anonymous Thomas

The winter wind whistles near
the water. Where widows whine.
Where windows shine.
Where everything is mine.
...
Where warriors went.
Where nothing is bent.
Where nothing is dent.
Where there is no money, not even a cent.
Where life is meant.
Where you pay no rent.
Where you will be sent to live in my tent.
Where you will live with the ocean next to the sea.
Where you will live with me.
Where the Winter Wind will send thee.
