Very Bad Poetry

Because you'll never feel this way again.
Because time wont stop for you.
Because theres so many bridges to cross.
Because youre still alive.
Because all these things that keep you down are in your head.
Because you want to fight.
Because even though hes your father, hes not right all the time
Because theres people out there who are going to back you up against a wall and beat the shit out of you if you dont do what youre told.
Because you think you might be one of those people.
Because youre not dead yet and that magical life altering moment has yet to hit.
Because youre still working at Longs
Because youre not sure youve done the right thing.
Because one day you will find yourself standing in the rain, a cigarette in one hand, your last hundred dollars clutched in the other, walking with your head down. You stop in front of a puddle because you think you see something in there, but all you see is your reflection and that makes you angry. Angry because your hopes were let down again, angry because youre standing out in the rain staring into puddles, angry that you had to see yourself like this, angry because youre angry and you realize that life isnt fair and unfair, the odds were never stacked against you. There are no great cosmic dice hovering out in space. Its all your fault. you made yourself this way.
Because I dont want to wake up tomorrow to the same life.
Thats why?
