Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Why Women, Why

Robert Hawkins

Through observation.
I can only conclude women.
Are natural artists.
To put make-up on day to day.
Though a few look like they use a jackhammer.
To blend their natural flush.
To enhance.
What's already there.
Oohh baby.
That's when you look good.
But to remove your eyebrows,
Only to draw them back in.
With a crayon.
You know what it's like for a man.
To kiss you.
Snuzzle on you.
Reach your eyebrows.
Only to get a mouth full of ink?

Even I today I'm amazed.
Some girls wear so much make-up.
They have to know.
Their make-up is made from,
Pure corrision or rust if need be.
Iron oxides, titanium oxides.
And in a hundered of forms.
So girls can have rusty faces.
A little petrolatum and titanium.
A pretty red lipstick.
Well, it ain't guys. Breathing all those fumes.
Christ, don't tell me you use.
Spray on deodorant and hair spray.
God girls.
Give yourselves a chance.
You got to live too.
If I can live without make-up.
So can you.
And let the eyebrows grow.
They look sexy on you.
You find if you use things
Logically.
Men.
Will love all the more and the same.

note;
You think women are angels, saints.
Be sure you take your Thorizine.
