Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Why I Love You

Hannah Powers

Your beauty is undefinable,
and yet these words burst out of my heart, crawl up out of my throat, and heave into your waiting face.
Your eyes are like my dog swimming in a pool of milk.
Your lips are the red of a clown's shiny nose.
Your skin is like an uncooked lobster, and your hair the hide of a prize winning boar.
I love you.
