What Do You Know Edger Allen Poe
Robert Hawkins
Bitterness I wallow ardent desire.
Pain pass from face to face.
Thought quashed, faith in ruins.
Acid expelled every breath.
Feelings ripped torn to shreds.
Good is what one does, hot knife from behind.
And love? Very ugly, ugly word.
Death is just a portal I push you through.
In hell I have sold your soul.

You should fear me, yet actually envy my ability.
Exaggerate supposed intellectual gulf tween us.
Maximize your own humanity?
To tout moral reasonings?
Those means for dealing with another thinking enity not yourself?
Leaving you the ineffable complexity.
That around others the lonely void of just being yourself.
For it is what you fail to understand of others.
They in fact fail to understand about you.
,,,,,,
Yes, you should fear me.
You could have been condemed to be me.

Take it from me Edger Allen Poe.
