Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Webly Fister

Stephen Wakeling

Webly Fister wrote
A song A week A year
For every year
Of his little life.

He made a little money
writing other things;
Mostly little lies.

But, he slowly filled
his parents garage with
terrible terrible songs.
and one good one.

But he died before
anyone every heard it.
It's not sad, though.
He wanted to die.

At his memorial
his mother played the song.
People listened.
And, they thought it was OK.
