Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Utopia of Despair!

Kiki VonMerryslacks

Utopia! Europia!
Where dost thou gardens grow?
Much like an English rose
exploding with fervent delight.
In the moonlight.
In the sunlight.
In the almost-afternoon or perhaps dusk lights
of the globular and extremely
round irises of your eyes…
is where I find
This utopia of despair!

Oh virgin! Oh, oh woe virgin!
Don’t leak Persephone
from her box of secrets!
The two-headed dog, Cerulean, barks blue in the night of my
broken, bleeding harmonousity,
I look for the afterlife of your TLC,
while Zeus’ mane of snakes produce earthquakes
in an act of monstrousity.

How does your gardener still rake?
When my afflectations thou dost forsake.
