Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Two Toms is Always Too Many

Benji Carlisle

If you had Tom Waits and Tom Petty in the same room
who would you talk to first?

At a Christmas party with a white elephant gift exchange whose package would you choose?
Two Toms is too many.

Tom Cruise and Tom Selleck decide to fight,
(and Tom Sellek agrees to remove his mustache)
who would get to pin the other?

Two Toms is a spare birthday cake or a third sock. Two Toms are tough to tame and difficult to socialize because they only want to talk to each other,
Two Toms is too many in one town at one time, when some towns have none.

Benji Carlisle has published 2 more terrible poems since joining on 9/5/07. Read more of Benji's terrible poetry at the anthology. Here are three of Benji's latest works:
