Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Torn in Two

Stephanie A

I thought my heart belonged to you
But all you did was tear it in two

I feel so blue
I don’t even have clue

Why you left me in the dark
And left me with only a mark

On my heart
Now in two pieces, apart

Why did you change your mind, my dear,
And leave me sitting here in fear?

I don’t know what to do
About this situation with you

Everything makes me sad,
I just want to be glad

A storm cloud follows me around
This past love is a horrid sound

It rings in my ears
And has been following me for years

Stephanie A has published another poem since joining on 30/11/99. Read more of Stephanie's terrible poetry at the anthology. Here are three of Stephanie's latest works:
