Tiredness

Jaxie .

Tiredness fades in and out of consciousness.
A terror that strikes and leaves,
Our bodies intact.

Exhaustion feeds on our bodies.
It eats at our minds
A creeping tide,
Enormous, unstoppable.
It brings anger, misery, contempt.

Worst of all,
It makes me write bad poetry.
