Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

This Robert Hawkins

Robert Hawkins

Drew called to say.
Bobby.
Have you been to a mall recently.
Drew a nice guy from VBP.
Was concerned.
That someone named Robert Hawkins.
Packing a gun or a missle or two.
Was taking potshots and nailing people.
In a mall somewhere in Kansas, Nebraska???
I want to assure my billons of fans.
I never left Texas.
Don't even own a gun.
I found that if I don't possess the ability to give life.
I damn sure don't have any right to take it.
Our Creator does that well enough.
Doesn't need any help from me.
I don't have the heart to kill the fleas.
On what they call home namely me.
But I want you to know.
This Robert Hawkins.
If I owned a gun.
Before I would hurt anyone.
I would turn it first on me.

Note; Like I said if you can't give life.
You damn sure no right to take it.
And thanks for the query Drew at Very Bad Poetry.
Hummm,,I think.
