Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

There Will Be A Day by Steve Wakeling an Bugs Bunny

Robert Hawkins

Note; from Bugs Bunny.
Stephen Wakeling what a Maroon!!
Maroon copyright by Warner Bro's cartoons.

There Will Be A Day

There will be a day.
No cod fish in the sea.
There will be a day.
Rain Forest is a restaurant not a place.
There will be a day.
No ice cap in or around Greenland.
There will be a day.
Hurricanes whip the coast of Abilene Texas.
There will be a day.
They will have trees in cages.
No beaches only refuse in which to play.
The rich and poor suffer no more.
There will be a day.
You stand before God.
On that day.
Best have a good answer.
For what you are.

Well, I have my moments.
I'm stuck in La Bahia (la bah-he-ugh) Texas.
Besides you ain't doing nothing anyway.
Would you rather be with me in La Bahia Tex. or Wakeling in Rome Italy?
Damn straight babe.
Prickly pear even the tunas fruit ripe and sweet.
Bobby down Texas way.
Every ladies dream.
Gospel according to Bugs Bunny.
So you know it's true.
