Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

The stove

Edward Krayva

look up yonder,
the glowing embers
of the pot belly stove
nestled in the tree fort
plummets thru the stratosphere
in a descending spiral
amidst the dead cats,
butts and bean cans
toward Swinger's nether-regions
use novicaine in those tender moments
Cadillac 61, quick henry the flit
all this before astronauts landed on the moon
stoves in Swinger's moon
is this the beginning or end of unmanned stove spaceships?
