The jugular

Hubba Hubba

Oh the jugular,
So supple, so succulent
And yet...

Venial in its veinous virtuosity
Whither would I be without thee?
Thou art life, thou floweth strong and true,
Thy flow divine
Thy drug quinine
Oh jugular!
