Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

The cherry tree

Richard James, Bitch

I came across a cherry tree
one day, upon a walk
before my eyes, to my surprise
this thing began to talk

It spoke to me, in hurried tone
"please, sir, oh god, I've hurt my head"
Terrified, and not quite one
of testicular girth, I fled

It was a child trapped inside
I saw it on the news. He died.
