The World is My Ash Tray

Michael Reed

Almost every
car that contains a smoker
has an ash tray.

Almost every
smoker contained in a car
throws their smoldering butts
out the vehicle window.

Almost every
time I see it happen
I wonder how it feels
to have
the whole world as your ash tray.
