Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

The Will

Chuck Anziulewicz

Today you served me some legal documents

My will, in fact

You must have inadvertently taken it with you when you left

Six months ago

And today at the office I find it unceremoniously dumped on my chair

Along with various owners manuals and warranties

From a keyboard, a coffee maker, a camcorder

Our bed

Vet records for a cat that has erased you from her little mind

As I wish I could

I think how much faith, how much trust, went into that will

Now seeming like just another expired warranty

Was there remorse when you found it amongst your things

Or just a sense of relief as you smuggled it into my cubicle?
