Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

The Shaking Shack

Stephen Wakeling

Before the idea of time was a wonder
The shaking shack was an idea of mine
It seemed so fun
To have all day
To move the beams
And watch the dust rise.
The squeaks of twine pulling tight.
Getting interested in slowly sawing
the old grey wood.
But foolishness is a luxury.
And funny isn't always fun anymore.
