Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

The Serendipity Prayer

Mister Clean

Goddammit, grant me serendipity
I am looking for something
That has no name, and I cannot describe it
But I'll know it when I see it.

I'll accept it if I must,
But would love to change it,
Perhaps to a lovely shade of cyan
And with a bit more fabric at the corners

But that would take courage,
Of which I have none.
Unless you count "liquid courage",
in which case, I am good to go.

Any*how*, I do know the difference
Between wisdom and ignorance
Is like an Election Day in your mind.
Just pull the lever, baby.

[apologies to whoever wrote the fucking Serenity Prayer]
