Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

The Rat aka Mighty Mouse and Big Bob

Robert Hawkins

I caught a rat in my trap.
The other day.
I was going to skin him,
For a quick meal.
But he convinced me he wasn't a rat.
But Mighty Mouse.
And he sounded real good.
So I let him go.
Now Mighty Mouse,
Is trying to eat me out, my house, my home.
I've just barely enough feed.
For my roach ranch.
I have a whole herd.
You have to use selective breeding.
To get a good roach herd.
My best roach,
And the best that ever was.
The one and only.
"Big Bob."
He can still whip any three of yours.
But I don't fight him anymore.
If your interested I do lease him to stud.
My Bob will improve your own herd.
Or you can use one of my brood mares,
From the south forty in my garage.
You can meet me there,
Since I'm living there.
Mighty Mouse won't let me back into my house.
You think Big Bob can beat up Mighty Mouse?
Big Bob ate my car.
That's why I park him where my car was,
In the garage.
Yeah, my Bob can whip Mighty Mouse.
That dirty rat.
And still be good for a billion brood.
