Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

The Process

e matte melrose

watching a mother torture and condone the imitation and mold her blood golem and feed them flesh
and ignored privately by vacant neighbors and enjoyed publicly by townie strangers who leave a few marks for kicks
on the beast in the basement

nobody gets out of here
slaughter what passes for life down there, kill what you see in the streets on your way out
set ablaze the bruises, the bottles, the beds of unrelenting cement
ingrained hardened rot
cannot be cleansed

no futures for those below
only endless replays
of the cruel human's show
futures burned away on melting, scarred skin
for her
for the children

this is the process
and these are just the things we know about
