Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

The Last Time I Visited a Bar

Peter Gullerud

The last time
I visited a bar,
I met a sexy woman who acted interested.

She was a good dancer.
She grabbed my arms
And intertwined her fingers in mine.
I felt like I was on ice
With skates that Gumby and Pokey designed.

But she wasn't interested.

It would be easier on me if she sucked at something visually.

And if it wasn't one of my better moments on the dance floor.

I was buzzed.
But she was drunk.
