Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

The Lanky Boy

Claudia Skipper

I see you in the hallways
About every other day

Your smile is mystical
A breath of fresh air
Or a gust of wind

I don't really know you
In fact, I don't know you at all.

I wonder what exactly you're like
I wonder how you talk,
what you think,
how you feel,
what you eat

I feel a pull of our lives to come together.

You're quiet, I know.
But I've been waiting three years to talk to you.

Hopefully I don't have to wait for too much longer
