Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

The Burbs

Carter Sharp

On the streets of the Burbs
I go to school
Surrounded by jocks and tools
Do my homework night and day
Else my moms going to beat me everyday
Keep my school shit straight
While acting cool
So the kids at school don’t mistreat me
I hang on the streets
Slinging for money
To the junior high kids
My homies and I protect our streets
We fight the kids from Hersey
And bring them to their mercey
