Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

The Body rejected

Pena Michael

I sing of the body rejected
The one not even science
would touch.

After all, how much can 240 lbs
of fat tell you about man
besides that he really loved
ding-dongs?

I sing of the body rejected
The one no sculptor would
dare sculpt.

After all, is it really worth a years
wages in cement to make a statue
in ode of gluttony?

I sing of the body rejected!
Yes, I sing!
The body!
Rejected!
