Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Technology Love

Meredith Evett

Your face lights up the screen of my computer
I wonder aloud if you could get any cuter.
Your eyes twinkle like a star in the sky
and your smile is sweeter than apple pie.

The distance between us often seems so far.
I find myself wishing on a shooting star.
Wishing for much less space between us
and you knowing my name would be a definite plus.

It's hard having a relationship online.
Even harder when the only heart in love is mine.
Someday you will mimic the love I have professed
Especially after I send my friend request
