Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Stale Croissant

Slim Walter DeTurtlevain

I see a stale croissant

It is sitting
In the plastic container
Just next to the stove

I do not like it
I do not like croissants
I will not eat it
It will not be eaten

The stale croissant
Will continue to sit
In the plastic container
Just next to the stove

Until somebody else notices
That it exists
And they throw it out

That will be the end
Of the stale croissant
Sitting in the plastic container
Just next to the stove
