Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Spring

Daniel Scheveraux

I was awaken by the sweet melody of the rain
Pouring tenderly over and over again
I could hear its soft touch on the leaves of trees
and how it drops on the grassy hills

Then morning came, and it everything looks new
Could you see the green leaves smiling and swaying?
How grateful it is from its Creator that somehow, a simple one like it, could live in gay and inherit the gifts that this life brings!

Ahhh!!!! Look at at how the sun smiles to everyone!
It gives light and it gives energy.
What else could anyone ask for a happy day like this that,
after the rain, the sun will surely shines again.

Daniel Scheveraux has published 2 more terrible poems since joining on 30/11/99. Read more of Daniel's terrible poetry at the anthology. Here are three of Daniel's latest works:
