Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Spiders... Ew

Rebecca Riley

I killed the spider.
But it deserved it.
It ran across the room,
With speed from the devil.
I am sure it would have killed me…
I killed the spider.
I know it deserved it.
With it’s hairy back,
Arched legs,
Poisoned fangs…
I am sure it would have killed me…
I killed the spider…
But there will be more,
I know this for certain.
I killed the spider,
But more will creep from the darkness,
Smell my sweet blood,
And hunger will make them try and kill me…
I killed the spider,
Let is serve as a warning.
